The Paradox Lance

The Paradox Lance is a long spear with an Amelanchier shaft and a head of meteoric iron inscribed with various glyphs.

The Lance can be easily handled by most statures and is ideal for keeping opponents, predators, and prey at a distance, or manipulating them into a disadvantageous position.  The lighter weight of the Lance allows for sweeps and entangling trips, in addition to classical pikework.

The most significant thing about the Lance is that, when the proper incantation is recited by the current owner of the Lance, the owner may enter a dimension within the Lance, bringing with them whatever companions they choose - and, impossibly, the Lance itself.

The Paradox Lance is a combination item and world within, fit for adventuring in and strengthening the Lance, and oneself.  Inspired by Item World of the Disgaea games
